Yanni: Truth of Touch Review

I was recently given the opportunity to review the newly released Yanni: Truth of Touch Album. My family grew up listening to Yanni so it was so nice to be able to listen to his music again and once again be entranced by his amazing talent! My favorite song on the whole album was the song titled Truth of Touch. It just sounded the most like Yanni's glory days to me : ) This album was unique in that it was Yanni's first instrumental release! These original compositions were gathered over 8 years and were taken from the genre that Yanni helped to create and advance.

Here's what Yanni has personally expressed about the album:

"I work the rhythms in this album," explains Yanni about the new material. "There is a beautiful complexity in these rhythms, a new sound design. I think the melodic content is very strong and very memorable. I was having fun with this album and that's going to become apparent."

Best of all on March 22, Yanni launched a 40-date tour of the US!!! The tour will take him through theaters in major cities across the US including Radio City Music Hall in NYC and the Nokia Theater in LA. Be sure to check to see if he will be stopping by close to where you live as this is a once in a lifetime opportunity and in the meantime, go and preview this album to see what songs you might like to purchase for your own music library!

This review and giveaway was made possible by the one2one network. I was not required to write a positive review, nor was I paid for this review. I did however receive a music sample so that I might make an accurate assessment of the product. The opinions I have expressed are my own. Please refer to my Disclosure Policy.
